Lunch and Mini Golf for Birthday Week Celebration

CityWalk at Universal Orlando has plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options. With all the nightclubs, you may not realize that there are family friendly things at CityWalk, too! In celebration of Kelly’s birthday, the Jones Family Travels crew went for lunch at The Cowfish followed by some very fun mini golf!

The Cowfish is a bustling, family-friendly fusion eatery with burgers, sushi and a full bar. It’s two stories tall and you can get some great views of CityWalk from the second floor. There’s also a fun interactive wall where you can design your own fish while you wait. There’s also a real cowfish swimming around in the tank!

The food at The Cowfish is great. The burger combos are really unique and delicious! Allison enjoyed the Black & Brie burger topped with blackberries, thyme infused honey, sake marinated Asian pear, and micro greens on a brioche bun. The kids enjoyed super fun bento boxes of PB&J sushi and homemade mac and cheese – yum!

After lunch it was time to hit the links at Hollywood Drive-In Golf! At mini golf, you can choose between two themes: 50s sci-fi or horror flick fun. Each are interactive 18-hole mini-golf courses.

Some of the fun things you are see on the courses are a haunted house, flying saucer, 30-foot robot, and more in quirky adventures filled with ghoulish gags and interplanetary puns. Special effects and lighting make it easy to play day, evening, and even late night. And since it’s located in Universal CityWalk™, it’s just steps away from the rest of the action at CityWalk.

Tip: If you buy admission in advance online, you can save 10%!

We had a lot of fun on our afternoon at CityWalk!
