YouTuber Families Visit Cabana Bay Beach Resort

July 23, 2017

Did you know Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort has a bowling alley?! It’s one of our favorite amenities at the retro-style resort at Universal Orlando Resort. The resort’s style is inspired by Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s. Cabana Bay Beach Resort has two massive pools, a winding river, a bowling alley and more. Check out the fun we had on our most recent Universal vacation at Cabana Bay!

We had a great time at Universal during our at Cabana Bay! We can’t get enough of the lazy river and the fun theme! And, the Starbucks in the hotel lobby is a huge perk, too! We’ve stayed here several times and particularly enjoy staying in the roomy family suites.  The extra park perks for resort guests are terrific, too!

More Info About Cabana Bay

If you are curious about the rooms, here’s a little info: Cabana Bay offers standard guest rooms that are 300-squared feet. If you need larger accommodations, they also have family suites that sleep up to 6 with two queen beds and a pull-out sofa, plus it includes a sliding privacy partition and a compartmentalized bathroom so three people can get ready at once. Family suites also have a kitchenette with a mini refrigerator, microwave and sink!

Cabana Bay Beach Resort rooms do not include Express Pass like the deluxe hotels at Universal Orlando, but they do come with Enjoy Early Park Admission to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ and Universal’s Volcano Bay™ one hour before the park opens (valid theme park admission required).

There are several dining options at Cabana Bay including very large Bayliner Diner food court, which offers a quick and easy breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Bayliner Diner has as Deli Station, Interrnational Station, Pizza Station, Burger Station, Salad Station, and a Dessert Station! There’s a pool bar and grill and you can also get food at the Galaxy Bowl restaurant. For drinks, adults will love the Atomic Tonic and the Swizzle Lounge since they serve cold beer, wine, specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages! The lobby level Starbucks is a favorite place to grab a snack or pick-me-up too!

One of the things you won’t want to miss is the lazy river! The Lazy River Courtyard is home to a sparkling swimming pool that features a winding river, sand beach, the poolside Hideaway Bar & Grill, two fire pits and plenty of outdoor seating!
